Handmade archer ring by Veromir Petrov.

In my design of archery thumb ring I have embedded a small metal cone that helps to hold the bow string. And it serves as a trigger.
My ring has a metal stopper, through which the size is adjusted.
The ring was Made out of 3.8mm leather with elastic cord to ensure good fit for any finger size.

What is thumb ring?

Archery thumb ring is a piece of equipment designed to protect the thumb during archery.
The ring fits over the end of the thumb, coming to rest at the outer edge of the outer joint.
A flat area extends from the ring to protect the pad of the thumb from the bowstring.

Archery thumb ring was often made of leather, stone, animal horn, wood, ivory or metal.
This ring is for the Eastern traditional archery; for example, Korean, Chinese, and Mongolian style. The ring is for protect the archer’s thumb while he shooting.
The ring can be use also for traditional – field and horseback – archery.
