I make everything by traditional methods with the highest possible quality. So rest assured you are getting high handmade quality. I am a perfectionist, continually striving to make every knife better than the last! I use the highest standards and materials when making every VPKnife. From the choice of steels and handle materials to the fit and finish. My knives are highly sought after and collected by many great folks from around the globe.
Everything in my workshop is made by my own hands.
I also work with leather. I make sure each of my knives gets a nice leather sheath.The skin used for leather sheaths varies in type, but the most used is calfskin. Each leather sheath is painted and treated with linseed oil and Golden Mink oil for impregnation. I used homemade wax for natural wood impregnation. My homemade wax is composed of turpentine, natural beeswax and linseed oil. Stir everything in a water bath until a homogeneous composition and allow it to cool. HANDLE MATERIALS
I use mainly natural materials as an early bladesmith would.
Mainly using Stag Antler, bone, many American hardwoods such as Tiger maple, red oak, white oak, Black Walnut, Cherry, Ebony, Ash, Hickory, many burl kinds of wood, and so on. I also do use synthetics such as Micarta, G10, Polyresin for custom orders as well as available knives. If something special is wanted in a handle material I can work with you no problem. Each handle is profiled, hand-sanded and hand-finished. All wood is hand-oiled and finished by hand.
STORY
Since 2019 I started making knives as a hobby.
After few mounts, I have been in business making knives. Specifically, I have been specializing in hunting, skinning, camp knives, and everyday carry knives. I have also made a few chef knives for the kitchen as well. I am constantly honing my skills, creating new designs, and offering different variations of my existing designs, so keep an eye out on my social media sites to purchase my latest knives.
